Don’t do it. I came to this location hoping for a great experience, but unfortunately it wasn’t so pleasant.
1. Upon entering no one greeted me at all. I asked about the menu and how to pronounce something and girl said she didn’t know.
2. After ordering I decided to dine in. However all of the tables were dirty and there was food on the floor. I was immediately turned off but I waited anyway. I was the only customer in this establishment and the employees were sitting on the phone. (Having been in restaurant management I’d say if you got time to lean you got time to clean)
3. A roach ran across the floor and it wasn’t a cockroach. It was a German roach which indicated a cleanliness issue. I packed my food Togo because I was a bit disgusted. I brought the roach to the staffs attention and they brushed me off and went pay to playing on the phone.
Times are hard and keeping good staff is hard to come by. Hopefully training or some morale boost will happen here because the team you had at your location about 30 minutes are terrible. I actually hate I tipped before the experience.
I love coming to the ramen station. They have the best noddle options. I don’t know if they changed management or if management is the same. My issue is with the Spicy beef entree. Spicy is good , but so spicy to where you can no longer taste your food is just outright unsatisfying.
For the price, you can find much better food. The ramen is mediocre. The owner is surly and unfriendly and frankly a bit sketchy. They say “kids eat free” but if you have two kids, only one of them eats free. You can save up to about $6. We still spent $20 per person including children. For that price I expect the food to be really good.
Almost nobody there so it feels a bit lonely. Won’t be going back.
Ramen is such a great meal on a rainy day. My friends and I decided to stop in during our workday.
I ordered the battle Royale rice ball. My friends ordered the Mega Tonkotsu Ramen, spicy Tonkotsu and the regular Tonkotsu.
Everybody finished their meal and was very happy with it. We were very happy that we stop by here for lunch. The staff is very nice. It wasn’t super busy when we came in so we were able to find a table and relax and the food came out quickly.
If you haven’t tried the spot yet definitely give it a try. It is a great lunch or dinner option.
I was very curious about this place and saw some good reviews (and photos) so decided to try - btw I make own ramen from scratch at home.
In my humble opinion, ramen is 60% broth (and sauce), 30% noodles and 10% toppings.
That being said, noodles and toppings were excellent with Tonkotsu Ramen that I ordered - straight and thin noodles that you’re supposed to use for Tonkotsu Ramen, Chashu was very tender and tasty and Aji Tamago were cooked and marinated perfectly.
But the broth…. It doesn’t taste bad but it seems pretty obvious that after they cooked Tonkotsu broth they thinned it out with water and added pretty good amount of MSG to compensate for it (cost cutting) - after eating half of the soup it made my tongue little numb.
It’s a good looking Ramen bowl. I hope they’ll improve on their broth.
Great spicy beef ramen. And they give you you moneys worth. And the buns are to die for. I didn’t like the fried chicken tho.
The Korean chicken was not as advertised... it was just fried with season on it and some white sauce on the side... no sticky sauce in sight... Ramen was perfect.
Great food and a great experience all together. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The establishment is clean and the staff was wonderful. I got the ramen set and decided to add an order of brussel sprouts and they did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.
